The grounds were stunning. The rooms well designed and comfortable. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly.
The building site next to our assigned room! Not good when you we had come to the hotel to relax! We asked to change rooms and the kindly upgraded us so we could :-) We had a twin room and they made the bed into a double but didn't provide a double duvet, only two singles.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great pools and relaxing atmosphere.Gardnes were very well kept and the renovated rooms very nice (unfortunately we did not have a renovated room).
We booked online on the basis of the quote and the fact that 2 children under 12 stayed free, but when we got to the hotel we had to pay an additinla $15 per night for the second child - this plus a hotel exchange rate that was some 7-10% over the official rate meant that the holiday started on a bit of a sour note -the hotel ended up costing us 15% more than the price we booked for.
Very friendly staff, good swimming pools and relaxed atmosphere. Gardwns were very well kept.
Actual exchange rate used by the hotel significantly impacts the apparent good deal obtained on the internet. Not sure that the approach of quoting in USD and then leaving payment to the hotel's exchange rate is really what people are after.
Good location on beach, good service, hotel was spotless - very well kept
The "compulsory" New Years Eve gala dinner that was not advised when we made the booking, otherwise we would not have booked. We were advised this 5 weeks after booking and it was a battle to get this charge (US$200 !!) removed from our bill as we were not attending the dinner. It was removed eventually but it was an unnecessary issue that we could not believe was being challenged i.e. we were being told we had to pay even though we were not going to be at the hotel on the evening.
Sanur is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. The beaches are fantastic and the hotel location is such that you can go from beach to pool and still stay in hotel. Staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Hotel facilities were fantastic. Lots of pools to choose from!
Room very old and tired, especially bathroon
Large hotel set in beautiful gardens. Hotel staff were friendly.
Breakfast was included in our rate but was very disappointing. Also the quality of the meals we did have at the hotel were poor. The hotel should provide a separate smoking area for guests at breakfast. We were uncomfortable with guests smoking in an enclosed.
poor room facilities & poor service
The gardens cetainly make this hotel one of the best in Sanur Away from too many loud holiday makers but not far from good dining and shopping
My mother and i stayed at Segara viliage 2 which was very quiet and secluded until the last day when a very loud group of friends arrived (not all staying at @ 2) Perhaps a politely written sign could be placed at the entrance to say that the facillities are for guests of Segara village 2 only(we do after all pay extra for the priviledge) and to refrain from loud behaviour as not to annoy other guests
The location was wonderful and the facilities met all our needs. The staff were very friendly answering any questons with experienced knowledge. We would definitely go back there again.
the location and the privacy of the bungalow
the bed squeaked whenever we turned
Excellent staff, careful, friendly, ready to help. Beautiful landscape: hotel is like a temple in a magic tropical garden. Very quiet. Perfect for families with children and all those who are looking for a quiet rest in a lovely place. Unexpected surprise: free internet in the room. We had nothing to complain about.
The rooms were very comfortable and furnished beautifully. The gardens are lovely, specially at night with all the little lights. The breakfast perfect!
The bathroom had a strange, not very pleasant smell, a bit like a sewer. And the food in the restaurant extremely bad, no wonder it was rather empty every evening. But there are nice restaurants in the neighborhood. For example "Kayu Manis" which was great! Cocktails not great either.
Beach access Hawkers keep away Relaxation Food Walking path Close to shops Polite helpful staff Late checkout for late plane departures
- Landscape design is good - taste of food is good
- Service not good, I had arrived at the hotel at 11.00pm and nobody welcomed at dropoff area. Only a security in there. - at the time when i want breakfast (6.45am) and i want take omelette, the waiters not in there and not started cooking.
